At Ark, our mission is to help Christians find meaningful, Christ-centered relationships. That journey begins with connection, and until now, that connection has mostly happened through liking profiles and waiting for a match.

But we know dating should be more dynamic. That’s why we’re launching something new: a fresh, modern take on speed dating, we call Speed Dating.

Whether you’re hoping to meet someone special, have deeper conversations, or just enjoy chatting with other Christian singles, Speed Dating is here to make that easier, more fun, and more intentional.

How Speed Dating Works

Speed Dating sessions typically happen bi-weekly on Sunday nights at 7 PM CST. Here’s how it works:

1. Join the session – You’ll see others online, ready to chat.
2. Filter by age and distance – More filters coming soon!
3. Send a chat request – If someone looks interesting, tap their profile and request a Speed Dating.
4. They accept (or decline) – If they’re available, you’ll hop into a 3-minute text conversation.
5. Not available? – No worries! You can send a Gold Note to show interest and possibly chat later.
6. Keep it going or move on – After 3 minutes, you can choose to keep the conversation going (and match), or move on to someone new.

Why It’s a Game-Changer

Unlike traditional speed dating, you’re in control. You choose who to talk to and who talks to you.

No guessing intentions. No waiting days for a message back. Everyone is here with the same goal—to make a meaningful connection right now.

And don’t worry—sending a Speed Dating invite isn’t a marriage proposal 😉. It’s just a friendly way to say, “Hey, I’d like to get to know you better.”

A: You’ll see them in the order they come in. Once you accept a request, your profile will show as “busy” to others.

Q: Is it only text chat?
A: Yes, for now. We may explore voice or video in the future if there’s enough interest!

Q: What happens if we both want to keep chatting?
A: You’ll move into Ark’s main chat area and continue the conversation with no time limit.

Q: Can I rejoin if I leave the session?
A: Yes! As long as the session is still live, you can hop back in anytime.
